Busy bees!

We got the car back on Monday (Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!) & since, have been running around like headless chickens catching up with ourselves. But- NO complaining because I'm just happy to HAVE the car & will not take it for granted again! (Well, at least not for at LEAST another few months!)

Anyhooo- that is my excuse for not writing for a while. (With special apoligies to Leanne- Leanne I am VERY sorry you have had no new stalking material! Tee hee hee!)

This photo sums up my Princess this week:
Sad eyes :o(

She's just been a little snuggle bug- a lot more docile than usual & vey under the weather. She's not much of a crier (although when she wants to cry- she REALLY can!) but she's spent a lot of the week very quite, wanting lots of cuddles & time just lying on me looking a little sad (& dribbling everywhere!) the reason: those horrible but much needed teeth!!!! WHY does it have to hurt them so much?!? It's so sad :o( I have DEFINATLEY enjoyed the snuggles & the good excuse to not go out much- but am now feeling a little bad that I have so much to do (my 'to do' list is out of control long!!!!!)

Onto other things that have happened this week: Luke has explained to me in depth that I'm not actually a fan of smoothies at all, but instead a lover of slushies as all I put in mine is ice & frozen fruit! Yes, this is an ACTUAL conversation that took place in our home!
The gist of it: I made Luke a 'smoothie' to which he said "Ummmm, is there any yoghurt in this?"
Me: "Nope"
Luke: "Honey?"
Me: "Nope"
Luke: "Banana?"
Me: "Uhhhhhh...nope"
Luke: "well then this isn't a smoothie- its just crushed ice & frozen fruits!!!!"
Me: "Well, thats how I like it."
Luke: "Well, thats not a smoothie, thats a slushie!"
Meg: "Ok, then I like slushies. Enjoy your slushie!"
The end. Yes, that is about as exciting as it gets!
My 'SLUSHIE!"
Other things that have happened this week (well, past fortnight!) Hollie joined the library! To be honest, I was a little slow in doing this as we have SO many books already (I'm a big fan of children & books having worked in a school where I have seen the effects of children that don't get read to/read to their family) so before I was even 3months pregnant we'd bought LOADS of our favourtie childrens books plus we got lots as presents too. Meaning I didnt really see the need to loan out anymore- BUT now having gone to the library it was fun just to take Hollie somewhere else & see her little face take it all in & investigate her new surroundings! Plus they do fun story time activities & Ryhme time which Hollie LOVES! (I think she's the only being on the whole PLANET who loves my singing voice & still I'm not sure wether she loves it for amusment purposes or because "it's such a lovely voice Mummy!") I tried to catch a photo of Hollie with her first library card...it ended up like everything else that Hollie can get her hands on at the moment- straight in her mouth! Still a fun photo though:
Mmmm....laminated, my favourite!

The rest of the week- well fortnight has been spent making wedding crafty bits & bobs for various family & friends weddings. Fun- but sadly no photos at this point as then they won't make nice suprises on peoples 'Big Days!'

I know this is a rubbish post- sorry! I will try & write a better, much more interesting one tomorrow!
