While we were in the Stable shopping Hollie was a real hit with the women on the stalls! One lady stood cooing at Hollie for a good 5minuetes straight! (Doesn't sound a long time till you're stood there trying to find a polite way to move on!!! Haha!) She was a lovely lady though! And of course Hollie was in full charm mode so giving it all her best smiles & giggles! So much so that she fell asleep despite me jumping around with excitment in certain craft stalls! She looked so cute knocked out & with her teddy coat on we got a lot of "oooo look at the baby!" from people! Its a weird thing really- the way people can be so happy for you when you're carrying a baby, will happily step out of your way to accomodate you, or give you their seat on the tube yet when Im by myself its like a different (more rude!) world! Maybe we should all strap a bubba to the front of us while going about our daily business- that might just be the answer to world peace! There- SORTED! My work is done! Haha!
After lunch & shopping in Camden we went over to the Tower of London as I have a knew found excitement for that place after my Father in Law took us on his London Tour he does with 2 of Lukes friends from his mission in Canada! I knew London had history but WOW! So we all strolled around the Tower- after Mum & Dad had taken us to this SCRUMMY Mexican restaurant called Mas Burritos! It so sooo yummy & really reasonably priced! It kind of reminded me of a Mexican version of Subway! Luke enjoyed it so much he was already planning when we could come back in to eat there again! (I guess thats date night sorted sometime soon then!)
This guy above in the photo with Elliot is a busker right outside the tunnel by Tower Bridge station. We've seen him there a few times & always wondered what the sign meant- Elliot couldn't resist seeing what he could do to make him love him! Turns out he just 'passes on the love' with a sign! So after Elliot gave him some cash- he gives Elliot one of his very important signs! Haha! Thats it! Elliot came away & said- he could've at least danced for me or something- I DID give him cash! (I think there are places where you can pay for people to dance for you Elliot- but you'll have to wait till your 18th for them!!!!) Tee hee hee!
It was a really fun day though- we had so much fun we totally forgot to eat the cake I'd made Elliot for his birthday! Ooops! (Confession: I actually had to throw it in the bin in the end because I found myself eating slither after slither!!! WHAT is it whith eating small pieces that makes my brain then think it's ok to have 5 more?!?!?)
But hey! Welcome to the world of 16 Elliot & thanks being cool enough to still want to hang out with your family! xxx
